Personal and Other Projects

A selection of other things I have worked on. Some are me just messing around, others are things that just didn't go anywhere

As part of my desire to always do things better, I decided to have a go at creating a simple swipe animation in Adobe After Effects.

The idea came around from me creating a simple movie clip (see below) of an Instagram Experience for the launch of New Bentayga which I had to create from stills for a board presentation.

I had never used After Effects before, and after a few hours of struggling and watching a few tutorials, this was the end result. I'm pretty chuffed if I'm honest!

This is the video referenced above. Created to go in to a board presentation to show what marketing materials had been created for the launch of New Bentayga.

The initial request was to just show the still images set in to an iPhone but a last minute request came in to animate the screen transitions to show how users would experience the Instagram Experience in real life.

This was one of my favourite images from the New Bentayga location shoot, so I was gutted when this one got dropped.

The weather on the day was terrible with no sun. Our retouching house did a great job to get this to the state it was in when it got dropped.

To me, this showed Bentayga doing what it can do offroad, it showed the car being free and I thought it would the "wallpaper" image everyone would use.

Whilst in the post production stage of the new Bentayga photoshoot, we weren't overly happy with the overall look of the building in this shot. We were trying to come up with ideas to see what we could do. I decided to flip the image so the car was on the left, change all the brick work to grey, make the bricks more uniformed and also flip the logo on the taco truck.
